Dutch express group TNT announced on Monday that it had sold its document management business,operated by the subsidiary Cendris, to Spain’s Service Point Solutions for €27 million.
The mailroom management facility, which also specialises in reprograhics, employs over 900workers in 200 centres and turns over €70 million a year.
A TNT statement said: “As a result of its strategic review, TNT has come to the conclusionthat the business line Document Management is not core to TNT’s focus strategy and no longer addsvalue to the other services of Cendris.
“As a result, Cendris will sharpen its focus on its other business lines.” Completion of thesale is expected by the end of the year, the companies said.
