“We will expand in a phased manner, which would enable us to cater to the needs of medium andlarge scale customers demanding end-to-end logistics solutions. The aim is to make TNT moreaccessible within the Kingdom and our recent ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications are officialrecognitions that we are doing this with the highest quality possible.”

“Saudi Arabia is strategically located and bordered by eight countries, serving as agateway to the Middle East. Therefore it is vital for a company wanting to develop its regionalbusiness to have a strong presence in the Kingdom,” added Al-Harazy.

The expansion will also complement TNT’s Middle East Road Network, which currently covers 11destinations including Dhahran, Riyadh and Jeddah. “The road infrastructure in Saudi is welldeveloped with highways stretching over 152,000 kilometres.
