Deutsche Post seeks EUR 105 million compensation from Telekom

Deutsche Post is seeking compensation totalling €105 million from Deutsche Telekom in connectionwith logistics centres that the postal group took over from fellow German company six years ago.



The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper reported that Deutsche Post had made a claim for€37 million in connection with allegedly missing planning permission for the buildings, along withother claims worth a total of €68 million.

The DPA news agency cited a Telekom spokesman as saying the claim was based on renovationwork, while a Deutsche Post spokesman confirmed that it had started legal proceedings. The twosides were not able to agree on the issue out of court.
