TNT Express has opened new depots in Poland and the Czech Republic as part of ongoing investment inthe region.
In Poland, the Dutch group opened a branch office in Opole in south-west Poland which itpreviously served from the nearby cities of Wroclaw and Katowice. TNT said it offers a full rangeof national and international express services at the new location.
“The creation of a new TNT Express branch office in Opole is part of the company’s strategyto widen its network in Poland. This step is also a result of the economic potential of the regionand increasing demand of regional customers for express services,β commented Rafal Dziura,Marketing and Sales Director of TNT Express Poland. βIt is also a sign of the increasing importanceof domestic courier services in the offer of TNT Express.β
The Opole offices increases the overall number of TNT sites in Poland to 19. The company isplanning to open further depots in south-west part of the country this year.
In the Czech Republic, TNT Express has opened a 740 sqm depot in Hradci Kralove, in theindustrial region of Silesia. The new depot was a response to increasing demand for TNT Express inthe region, explained Petr Chvatal, managing director of TNT Express in the Czech Republic.
