DHL has expanded its retail network in Spain under an agreement with the Aragon- based chain ofphotographic stores, Foticos, that went into effect at the start of July.
The agreement will allow Foticos customers to use DHL’s comprehensive transport services, forboth domestic and international shipments. The agreement, slated to begin in the month of July inZaragoza-based stores, will later expand to other Foticos establishments in provinces includingHuesca, Teruel, Barcelona, La Rioja and Guipuzcoa.
The partnership has been developed in response to the growing demand for transport servicesamong such groups as small businesses, professional workers and individual customers, as well asthe ever-increasing immigrant population, which in Zaragoza now accounts for 5,000 inhabitants, or2% of the total population.
