Royal Mail has announced that Ian Duncan, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of thenuclear technology company Westinghouse, has been appointed the company’s Group Finance Director.
Reporting to Group Chief Executive Adam Crozier, Mr Duncan will be a member of Royal Mail’sBoard with Group-wide responsibility for Royal Mail’s financial performance. He takes up his newposition on 1 September. He officially replaces Marisa Cassoni who left the company at the end of2005.
Commenting on his appointment, Ian Duncan said: “I’m looking forward very much to joiningRoyal Mail as it tackles the enormous challenges of modernising the company to ensure it competessuccessfully in a mail market now open to full competition.” Adam Crozier added: “I am delightedIan is joining Royal Mail. He has a proven track record in strong financial management combinedwith leadership skills to enhance company performance.”
