DHL has opened a new Service Point in the heart of Moscow’s Business District to targetinternational and Russian corporate customers. The move follows last month’s announcement of a
four-year investment of $250 million by Deutsche Post World Net in the Russian market.The Service Point on Chistoprudny Boulevard offers a full range of transportation services, DHLRussia said in a statement. The Service Point will be open six days a week, and is fully equippedwith all the necessary materials for packaging and shipment processing.
According to Mark Jordan, Commercial Manager DHL Russia, ‘by turning to DHL, our customers andbusiness partners can rest assured that they are receiving the highest standards of service and themost efficient processing of their shipments. Our motto is to always meet and exceed the growingexpectations of our customers.”
DHL Russia is currently seeing strong growth in its express business, with double-digit growthboth in domestic and international business in the first quarter of 2006.
