FedEx Express has formed a dedicated Healthcare & Life Sciences sales team to support thecompany’s growing healthcare and chemical industry client base across Europe.
The international healthcare sector is growing rapidly, FedEx pointed out. The pharmaceuticalsector’s global sales forecast indicates an annual growth rate of 6-10%, reaching €600 billion by2008. The medical technology sector is also predicted to grow 4% per annum and reach €133 billionby 2008.
Against this background FedEx has brought together a European team of ten experienced globalsales executives, whose in-depth knowledge will enable FedEx to provide innovative and targetedsolutions for existing and potential customers. The team is spread across the healthcare industry’skey markets: Germany, France, UK, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
