The new depot at Hallerndorf is due to open in autumn 2006, and will handle about 12,000 parcelsdaily in an initial phase. The 3,700 sqm depot, on a 25,600 sqm area of land, is fitted with amodern sorting system, 90 docking doors and video surveillance. The building can be expanded tocapacity for up to 25,000 parcels daily.
