Austrian Post has made two senior appointments at its parcels and logistics division as it gearsup to enter the B2B parcels market later this year.
The Austrian postal operator has named Max Moser as joint head of the parcels and logistics unittogether with Sonja Stockmayer. The 49-year-old manager will be responsible for the B2B parcelsbusiness as well as for the division’s operations, quality management, organisation and humanresources. Moser was a director of DPD Austria from 1997 to 2001 before moving to the private mailfirm Redmail.
Separately, Martina Hofer has been appointed head of the operations department within theAustrian parcels logistics business with responsibility for all production activities, includingtransport, technology and infrastructure. She was previously responsible for planning anddevelopment within the Austrian Post parcels department.
