TNT will now be responsible for distributing SFR parcels to the mobilephone company’s outlets. No details on the contract’s value, length or the expected volumes weredisclosed.

Separately, TNT Express France has recently extended its presence in the Haute Savoie regionby enlarging its depot at Annecy by 700 sqm to 2,300 sqm. The depot, with some 6,300 parcels a dayat present, now also handles international express items to and from the region, enabling TNT tooffer later pick-up times. A new road service has been set up linking Annecy to the company’s airsub-hub at Lyon, which feeds items to the European hub at Liege.
