Russia’s Armadillo Group opens northern Moscow depot

Russian parcels and freight company Armadillo has expanded its operations in Moscow with theopening of a new one million rouble (30,000 euro) depot.

Its parcels unit Armadillo Business Parcel said the new 450 square metres City Depot inDmitrovsky District in northern Moscow was targeted at customers who preferred to drop off orcollect parcels personally. Dmitrovsky City Depot, which offers all Armadillo’s core services,BizPak, Econom, Courier Delivery, Standard AUTO, Standard AVIA, Standard RAIL, complementsArmadillo’s South Terminal in Moscow.

‘The opening of Dmitrovsky City Depot is part of Armadillo Group’s city network developmentprogramme in major Russian cities. The programme aims to make our services even more convenient,easy to use and accessible to our customers in business and industrial areas. We intend to openfour more City Depots during 2006’, said Vladimir Shilov, Deputy General Director of ArmadilloGroup.
