Management shake-up at Austria’s Lagermax Group

Austrian forwarding and parcels transport group Lagermax has announced a new managementstructure. The company is a shareholder in DPD Austria and has several Eastern European joint

Effective from January 1, Alfred Grasser, the long-serving head of the freight forwardingbusiness, handed over responsibility for the unit to Herbert Weber, previous head of internationaltransport.  Grasser will focus on strategic development of the group’s express and parcelsbusinesses.

Christian Starchl was appointed as managing director of Lagermax Alltime Express Distribution(AED), which provides same-day and overnight express transport. He will run the business along withAlfred Grasser. Michael Eberl will jointly run the Lagermax Paketdienst, the parcels business basedaround DPD Austria and the Eastern European businesses, with Grasser.
