UPS has launched a new programme offering small and medium-sized customers fleet managementservices at discount rates usually granted only to large corporations.
The programme, offered through its financial services division UPS Capital in cooperation withGE Commercial Finance Fleet Services, applies to companies with minimum fleet sizes of fivevehicles and includes light truck, heavy truck, warehouse or work vehicles.
Services include maintenance management, an electronic fuel card for fuel purchasing management,accident support services, driver safety programmes, mileage data reporting, vehicle registrationservices.
Beyond saving money, small businesses are able to manage their accounts online with access toconsolidated reporting, vehicle ordering, driver order management and other data with the click ofa mouse.
