Teamsters launch FedEx action campaign

The North American transport union International Brotherhood of Teamsters has launched an actioncampaign targeted at FedEx and non-unionised workers.

The Teamsters said they had set up a new website called “FedExWatch” to highlight alleged “shameful” personnel practices at the package company and to track progress of a court case onalleged racial discrimination. The union is also leafleting FedEx Express facilities in Colorado,California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Arizona this week.

The Teamsters union has no representation at FedEx but has a collective agreement with UPS.
