TNT Express said it has successfully provided delivery services as the official carrier of theprestigious European Film Awards for the ninth consecutive year and additionally delivered the
statuettes to award winners’ homes for the first time.Prior to the awards ceremony, held in Berlin on December 3, TNT was responsible for shippingselected films to each of the 1,650 members of the academy who vote in all the award categories. Itwas also responsible for delivering the award trophies from London to the Berlin Arena in time for18th European Film Award ceremony. After the ceremony, TNT took charge of delivering the statuettesto the winners’ homes. The awards were stored in secure transportation containers to prevent damageand accompanied by two gifts – a bottle of 12-year-old Jameson Irish Whisky and a silver bottle topfrom the car manufacturer, Jaguar.

This gives us the infrastructure and resources to deliver therequired quantity of tapes and DVD’s to the 1,650 academy members.”
