Italian express and logistics operator Bartolini has expanded its national network with severalnew depots. In Padua, a new 10,000 sqm logistics centre was opened on October 24 close to the firm’s
nearby parcel depot. This is designed to serve the company’s growing logistics activities.A new parcel depot, covering 1,500 sqm, was opened in Reggio Emilia on October 24 to servethe express delivery needs of companies in the Emilia Romagna region. The privately-owned companyalso opened a new 1,300 sqm branch in Castellammare di Stabia, near Naples, in September.
With annual revenues of 490 million parcels and some 80 million parcels, Bartolini is one ofItaly’s leading express operators. It has 130 branches, operates a fleet of over 3,800 vehicles andhas 500,000 sqm of warehousing capacity for logistics services. Bartolini is the Italy franchiseein the DPD parcels network.
