TNT Express has announced that its Information Communications Services (ICS) support unit hasbeen awarded the European Quality Award by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
The award was made for the unit’s operational quality and was accompanied by an additional prizefor demonstrating excellence in ‘leadership and constancy of purpose’. By integrating EFQM’sExcellence Model into the organisation, Express ICS has developed a structured approach todeveloping and executing its strategies through value adding processes, leading to satisfiedstakeholders and world-class performance levels, TNT Express stated.“With the model of excellence firmly established in the structure of Express ICS, the companywill continue to improve the standard of its operations. Customers, suppliers and partners are allset to benefit, as the EFQM framework re-enforces the importance of ‘customer focus’, ‘processmanagement’ and ‘results orientation’, all of which are critical to our success,” said ShwanMoubarak, director of TNT Express ICS.
