DHL Solutions, the Deutsche Post World Net contract logistics business, has won a three-yearcontract to operate Sony Europe’s World Repair Parts Centre Europe in Londerzeel, Belgium. The
logistics firm took over management, including 41 employees, at the 10,000 square metres Sonywarehouse in May, DPWN announced.The current first phase covers picking and packing, stock management and reverse logistics. Thesecond phase is the takeover of the operational inbound and outbound flow of goods. The third phasewill involve producing a process analysis in conjunction with Sony. Possibilities for improvementsto the current process will also be considered.
