GeoPost appoints Thomas Lot as Chairman and CEO of Chronopost International

GeoPost, provider of express and deferred parcel services and subsidiary of France’s nationalpostal service Groupe La Poste, appoints Thomas Lot (45) as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of

Chronopost International, the express network of the GeoPost Group. Lot also becomes a member ofthe general management of GeoPost. In the past three years, Lot was Vice President of the AmazonGroup, the world e-commerce leader, having served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ofAmazon.com Europe, in charge of three European sites. Beforehand he served as Chief ExecutiveOfficer of Apple France and previously as “to C Director” of Apple Europe. Gilles Moutel, who hasactively contributed to turning Chronopost International into one of the key businesses within theGeoPost Group in the field of Express Parcel Delivery, has decided to leave the company after sixyears.
