Masterlink Express sums up the first half of 2005

Masterlink continuously strengthens it’s position on the logistic market in Poland. The past sixmonths resulted in an increase of turnover and parcel volume.

The turnover for the first six months of 2005 exceeded 62 million PLN, around 45 percent morethan during the same period last year, whereas the volume of parcels in the domestic andinternational rotation rose by 35 percent in comparison with the first half of 2004.
Masterlink owes the continuous rise to the development and enhancement of employee skills aswell as to the numerous investments in the operational, IT and security systems. All this resultsin the offering of high quality services, among which there are tailor made products, advancedlogistic solutions, which build the competitive advantage of our clients. A big impact on thecompany’s results had external factors such as the opening of borders (the volume of road DPDparcels has risen by 105 percent in comparison with the second half of 2004) and the perturbationon the courier market concerning the consolidation process.

Plans
In the second half of this year we plan further investments in the development andmodernization of our depot network. We will build new objects precisely tailored to our needs,whereas before we modified existing buildings. We will also finalize the second stage of ourcentral hub enlargement in Lućmierz, which targeted surface area accounts for 6600m2. Our plansalso concern the introduction of new international services, investments in IT systems and thedevelopment of our employees – says Rafał Nawłoka General Director Masterlink Express.
