ABX LOGISTICS Iberia’s transport agent in Castille and Leon, Gescoex, recently signed anagreement with the local authorities over conditions conducive to encouraging exports among the
region’s small and medium-sized enterprises.The agreement will enable exporters in the region to use freight forwarder Gescoex’ services atdiscount rates. By extension this means that shipper companies will be able to obtain preferentialprices for all the transport services they contract with Gescoex. The aim is to boost exports amongsmall and medium-sized companies in Castille and Leon and build up economic activities in theseregions. For Gescoex’ General Manager, César Casado, “the objective is to place all our experienceas freight frowarders and our know-how as foreign trade advisors at the service of those companieswishing to develop their business with other countries. This would not be possible without thesupport of the international network of ABX LOGISTICS and its 500 branches throughout theworld.”
Through its agent, ABX LOGISTICS is therefore involved in this initiative, which itconsiders a positive step in the interests of companies in the region.
