Wilson Logistics Group will take an important step in integrating into TNT. On June30, the company will take the final step towards becoming part of the TNT Group and will start
using the orange logotype. Consequently Wilson entities will re-brand to TNT Freight Management +country name. The new brand is expected to bring benefits to the former Wilson organisation.The change only concerns the Holding company (Wilson Logistics Holding AB) and not the Swedishcompany Wilson Logistics Sweden AB. TNT will operate globally under the brand TNT for all itsactivities from 2008. Operating under one brand will increase the recognition of the groupworldwide and allow for more efficient communication on the various services. ‘The name TNT, astrong and global brand, will give higher visibility and credibility worldwide. It will emphasiseour joint service offer and help us in customer contacts’, says Martin Atack MD TNT FreightManagement – Middle East. The new profile will be evident in a new TNT look for all communicationsfrom signs and business cards to invoices and web design. The change mainly refers to the brand,corporate identity and company name. In all other respects the company remains the same; thepeople, services, expertise and values as well as addresses.The Wilson Logistics Group was acquired by TNT in August 2004 to add a complete and globallystandardised freight service offer and leading e-services to the express and logisticsportfolio of TNT.
TNT Freight Management provides air and sea freight and logistics services within aninternational network and employs approximately 2200 people in 28 countries. TNT Freight Managementis a business unit of TNT Logistics. TNT Logistics employs approximately 40,000 people, who areoperating in 40 countries, managing over 8.5 million square metres of warehouse space. TNTLogistics reported sales of €4.081 billion in 2004.
