Exel has announced the integration of its contract logistics and freight management offices inWarsaw, Poland. Exel’s management and head office functions in Poland will now be located at a
single location in Warsaw, making operations more cost-effective and furthering the Company’soffering of integrated supply chain solutions. With the move in Poland the company wants to enableboth teams to collaborate more closely, making the sharing of information and the development ofsolutions even easier than before. Marek Czapka, previously Finance and Commercial Director forExel’s contract logistics business in Poland, has assumed responsibility for all of Exel’sfinance-related functions in Poland.In a joint statement, Adam Chazanow, Exel’s Managing Director, Contract Logistics in Poland andJerzy Korzycki, Exel’s Country Manager for its technology and freight management business said,“Both teams are pleased with the office merger and look forward to demonstrating the value of anincreasingly integrated approach to our customers’ supply chain needs.”
