UPS has announced that it will start immediately with the expansion of its overnight servicesbetween important economical centres in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands and those
in the USA. Cities such as Bielefeld, Cologne, Duesseldorf, Bonn, Essen, Dortmund, Frankfurt,Brussels, LiƩge, Gent, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Utrecht willbe only one overnight flight away from the most important economic centers in NorthAmerica. The US company already offers a NEXT Day service from Europe to New York and NewJersey. With an additional non-stop flight between the European UPS air hub in Cologne and theworld-wide UPS air hub in Louisville (Kentucky) UPS extends the NEXT Day service on theentire USA. Five days a week a Boeing 767 will fly this connection. The newconnection will complement the daily NEXT Day flight from Great Britain to the U.S. which isalready existing, as well as four other transatlantic flights.
