Faria will be responsible for maximising Exel’s performance in Portugal, focusing on on theCompany’s quality, value-add offerings, and establishing a greater presence in this market.Prior to joining Exel, he was Commercial Development Director of the Luís Simões Group,responsible for the company’s New Products, Processes and Services Division. He has held seniorpositions within companies such as Logistema, Transborda and Ibertrans. José Costa Faria holds abachelor of arts degree from the University of Oporto, and is a founder member of APLOG (1991), andguest professor at ISEG and ISG, holding the Transport Marketing and Transport Systems andMarketing Logistics Chairs, respectively.
