Hong Kong, FedEx Express (FedEx) today announced the appointment of David Ross as Regional VicePresident for its South Pacific operations.
Based in Singapore, Mr. Ross will be responsible for developing and executing the company¡¦scorporate strategies and operations for FedEx in the South Pacific region, which covers Hong Kong,Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and Indochina.

With over 12 years of experience at FedEx, Mr.Ross brings a strong operations background and an extensive knowledge of Asia to the position.Prior to taking up this role, Mr. Ross was serving as Regional Vice President for FedEx NorthPacific, which includes Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Guam.

Mr. Ross replaces Peter Yin, who now assumes the role as Regional Vice President for FedExNorth Pacific with immediate effect. Mr. Yin will be based in Tokyo and will be responsible formanaging the company´s corporate strategies and operations for FedEx in Japan, Korea, Taiwan andGuam.
