FedEx appoints new regional vice president for South Pacific operations

Hong Kong, FedEx Express (FedEx) today announced the appointment of David Ross as Regional VicePresident for its South Pacific operations.



Based in Singapore, Mr. Ross will be responsible for developing and executing the company¡¦scorporate strategies and operations for FedEx in the South Pacific region, which covers Hong Kong,Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and Indochina.

“I look forward to my new role, and am focused on continuing our strong development withinthe region by providing the highest level of service to customers who are looking to enhance theircompetitiveness in the market.” said Mr. Ross.  With over 12 years of experience at FedEx, Mr.Ross brings a strong operations background and an extensive knowledge of Asia to the position.Prior to taking up this role, Mr. Ross was serving as Regional Vice President for FedEx NorthPacific, which includes Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Guam.

Cunningham Jr., President of FedEx Asia Pacific. “At FedEx, we always look to thelong term when building our senior leadership.”

Mr. Ross replaces Peter Yin, who now assumes the role as Regional Vice President for FedExNorth Pacific with immediate effect. Mr. Yin will be based in Tokyo and will be responsible formanaging the company´s corporate strategies and operations for FedEx in Japan, Korea, Taiwan andGuam.
